Magneto, also known as Max Eisenhardt, is a powerful mutant from Marvel Comics.
He first appeared in X-Men #1 (September 1963). Magneto possesses the ability to control magnetic fields. Born a Jew, he survived the horrors of the Holocaust, a trauma that deeply shaped his worldview and fueled his distrust of humanity.
